Mainly because of his initial gun lyrics Ewart Everton Brown, a.k.a. the deejay Mad Cobra (or sometimes even simply Cobra), was brought to the public's awareness and a broader audience during the Persian Gulf war in the first half of the nineties. He had notable hits with the highly acclaimed "Yush" and "Gundelero". As time went by he also started recording love songs and cultural oriented tunes.
