The Mighty Diamonds perfected a sound and style that helped define Jamaican reggae in its infancy, and set its standards high in the mid and late seventies with classic reggae albums like "Right Time" and "Deeper Roots". They first teamed up with Gussie Clarke in 1981 for whom they recorded "Changes", the group's most exciting album since their heydays at Channel One. Six years later they delivered their second album for Gussie entitled "The Real Enemy", which was followed by "Get Ready" in 1988.
