Prince Buster, real name Cecil Bustamente Campbell, is one of the most colorful Jamaican artists ever. As a boxer, he became a bouncer for Coxsone Dodd's soundsystem in the 60s. Throughout the decade his output was prolific, scoring a slew of number 1 hits in Jamaica. In the early 70s he took to recording many of the current top artists. Although he occasionally performs, he lives on his shops and juke box operations. He has put together some excellent compilations, well worth checking out.
