his feminine counter-part, the young and lyrically gifted

Jason 'BassyJ' Smith, a 21-year-old self-contained producer,
songwriter, arranger; the two (LaNiece and Jason) attended the
prestigious Berkelee College of Music in Boston. Topping it all off
with cousin Gil Smith on keyboards adding his golden touches to
the keys, making Caribbean Pulse quite a family affair.
In addition, the core members of Caribbean Pulse are joined by a
full compliment of world-renown musicians, including world famous drummer
Carlton 'Santa' Davis (known for his work with Bob Marley,
Peter Tosh, Jimmy Cliff, Big Youth, Black Uhuru and Burning
Spear among others), keyboardist Michael Hyde, guitarist
Steve Verhault (whose work includes such greats as Big Mountain,
