The UK music collective Pama International, including Lynval Golding (The Specials/Fun Boy 3), Finny, Sean Flowerdew and Lenny Bignell, Gary Alesbrook, Andy Kinsman and Fuzz Townshend, are specialists when it comes down to producing reggae and dub with a some slices of soul music, in a way that everyone feels the irresistible urge to 'get up and dance'. This cd-single was released at the end of 2009, but was overlooked by our review team. Both tunes are also featured on the CD 'Pama Outernational'.
Equality & Justice For All is an awesome track -- both regarding delivery and lyricism -- with a solid dub groove. Nice one! The title track is a ska flavoured piece of music, reaching back to those small soul & reggae gems of the late 60s and early 70s. |
