Across a plangent new cut of the "Mean Girl/I Need A Roof" riddim Luciano's voice, husky with weariness yet determinedly resolute, sweeps majestically across the regal riddim in what amounts to one of his best ever performances, with the final repeated chant of "Gethsemane" raising the hairs on the nape of the the neck. Awesome. Sizzla's wicked cut and Capleton's fine espousal on the same riddim (both given a slightly different mix) are solid cultural deliveries and truly complement the Luciano tune.
