Conscious version excursion from producers Boris Silvera aka Taffari, Anthony Graham, Anthony Senior and Cedrica "Soljie" Hamilton, for a live played roots riddim called "Immigration", actually a remake of Burning Spear's "Fire Down Below" from Studio One days. Driven by a wicked bassline, which instantly grabs you and then never let's loose again, the roots fan is treated to six quality tunes, all released on 7" singles from the "AL.TA.FA.AN" label. Taffari & Anthony B's combination tune "Rise Up" is the prime cut, but other highlights include the efforts of two underrated artists, namely Admiral Tibet and Mark Wonder. Both Luciano and Turbulence deliver matching songs, with the deejay having the slightly better piece. Don't overlook "Di Lion" unknown singer Mountain Lion, definitely a name to watch for in the near future.
