"Immer Wieder Hören" is the first
single taken from Nosliw's forthcoming sophomore album
"Mehr Davon" on Rootdown Records. Once more
backed by a superb riddim by Rootdown Records co-founder and in house
producer Thilo 'Teka' Jacks, Eric Wilson
a.k.a. Nosliw continues his streak of big tunes and releases following
2002's Maxi-CD "In Vollen
Zügen" and the 2004 and 2005 single CDs "Wie Weit"
across Teka's extremely successful 'Crystal
Woman'-riddim and "Musik" over
the equally beautiful 'Musik'-riddim
taken from his very impressive full length debut album "Mittendrin",
this is an excellent teaser for things to come. This single "Immer Wieder Hören" is a magnificent tribute to the German soundsystem culture and German language reggae over a brilliant powerful roots riddim that is guaranteed to capture the massive on the dancefloor. Its lyrics and performance fit this riddim tight like a glove, with the "Immer Wieder Hören (Clean Version)" aiming to exploit the crossover appeal this tune certainly has by replacing the references to gras i.e. weed, ganja, with airhorns and whistles to be spun on mainstream radio and the very nice "Immer Wieder Hören (Bounce RMX)" certainly adding to the big impression Nosliw makes with this excellent tune. Producer Teka takes the spotlight with the excellent clean "Immer Wieder Hören (Instrumental)" to prove what a brilliant producer he is, whereas Nosliw on the three vocal versions has certainly risen the expectations for his forthcoming (May 4, 2007) "Mehr Davon" album. |
