IQULAH stands for Integrity, Quality, Unity, Love for Africa as Home.
From its foundation in 1983 this band (coming from Runaway Bay, St. Ann's
Jamaica) makes reggae music, which can be descriped as strictly "roots and
culture" based on Rasta philosophy. Since 1989 Iqulah has been touring in
Europe and East-Africa on a very regular basis, thus gaining lots of fans
in many countries. With this album - which was recorded live in
Switzerland in 1997 - Iqulah delivers a nice document, a good impression of
what they have to offer when playing in front of an audience. It catches
the cultural vibes of such a performance quite well.
