Star Trail is one of the leading conscious labels in Jamaica and this
blistering set from the highly talented up-and-coming young deejay Anthony B
is a good part of the reason why. Most of the times Anthony B deejays in a
deep growl utilizing the melody and this youth certainly puts in a powerful
punch on tunes like "Raid di barn", "Prophecy reveal" and "Ghetto
youth". Included on this album are also the hot "Cold Feet", the
banned songs "Fire pon Rome" and "Swarm me" and his 1995
single "One thing". In all his songs Anthony B keeps to total culture
and that's really a great thing to witness. In general Anthony B is truly
worth checking out, but especially if you wonder why there is such a buzz
about this artist or if you think that there are no positive young deejays
out there, do check out this album.
NOTE: The U.S. release of this album is done by VP Records and is retitled
"So Many Things". More Anthony B. reviews : Predator & Prey Universal Struggle |
