"Reggae inna Arizona stylee" (but strongly related to the Jamaican reggae)
can be heard on Neon Prophet's self-produced "Reggae Party". From the
opening title-track to the closing dubversion of "What I feel for you" this
album rocks and grooves with a positive feel and spirit. "Reggae Party" ranges
a broad spectrum of contemporary reggae styles, varying from roots rock reggae
to dancehall to dub, all captured in a real "live" sound, complete with horns
and some nice guitar solos. It's "Reggae Party" time and everyone's invited ! NOTE: This album is mixed by Barry O'Hare (also playing all instruments on "How the west was won") at Grove Studios, Ocho Rios, Jamaica W.I. Need we say more ?! |
