Nisha K's debut album is produced by one of Jamaica's best producers, Bobby "Digital" Dixon, with the exception of You Can't Hurry Love, produced by Sheldon Stewart. She's a prolific songwriter with over 100 songs written to her name. Most of the songs featured here are her own self-penned compositions, with the exception of of the Diana Ross classic You Can't Hurry Love, which happens to be the weakest track on the album. Love Of God, one of the highlights is a spiritual love song, which is sung to the music of the Delano Stewart sixties classic love song 'Swinging My Love'. The album features some previously released hits : "Weekend", "Read Your Mind", and "In Your Smile". The musical accompaniment to the well crafted songs varies from slow through mid to fast tempo and the production is as good as you would expect. The harmonies are tastefully arranged and a number of songs have pleasing and well arranged horns. Sophisticated, melodic and very tasteful album ! |
