Face Off Volume 2 is a three riddim dancehall album, featuring household names like Beenie Man, Capleton, Mr. Vegas, Zebra and Bounty Killer. There are 8 tracks on Colin 'Bulby' York's & Lynford 'Fatta' Marshall's "Coochie" riddim, 4 tracks across "Broke Bottle", a riddim laid down by Steely & Clevie at their own Studio 2000 and 3 more tracks featuring the "Dirty Money" riddim, produced by R. Blake and D. Blake for Q-45 Productions.
The popular deejay Mr. Vegas puts out three of the best tunes of the album - "Blaze Mi Fire" , "Give It Away" and "Wave". Furthermore deejay Capleton delivers some strong cultural tracks, starting with "In Or Out" across the "Coochie" riddim and followed by the even better "More Prophet" riding Q-45's "Dirty Money" riddim. Bounty Killer's version "Look Good Time Now" is as good as you would expect, Zebra delivers his tune - "Red"- in his own remarkable style and the combination Nitty Kutchie and Future Troubles are responsable for another awesome cut on the album, the cover tune "I Still Love You".
Scare Dem Crew members Harry Toddler and Elephant Man are present here with two tracks, "Gal Get Easy" across the "Broke Bottle" riddim and "Nuh Like" featuring the "Dirty Money" riddim. The album closes with a wicked tune from the Princess of The Dancehall, Tanya Stephens, entitled "Who Have The Link".
This album is an excellent treat for all dancehall diehards.
