"Greensleeves Rhythm album" series continues to bring the hottest riddims that are mashing up the dancehalls in Jamaica right now! Already number 11 in this phenomenally successful dancehall/ragga series the dancehall massive is treated to twenty pieces to "In The Streetz" cut of the "Mud Up/Workie Workie" riddim. Well known vocals from the huge "Crash" and "New Ride" riddims like for example Capleton's "Hands Off", Mr Vegas' "She's A Ho" and "Stop Man Food", Sean Paul's "Check It Deeply", Elephant Man's "Friend Enemy" and Hawkeye's "Go Rachel" are remixed over Super Cat's famous "Mud Up" riddim, re-licked by the famous duo Steely & Clevie. Besides that this set also features brandnew efforts from Merciless, Ward 21, Ricky Rudy aka Bling Dawg, Junior Demus, Harry Toddler, Captain Barkey, Danny English & Singer J and Alizade. The "Mud Up" riddim is reminiscent of the extremely popular "Punanny", actually also created by Steely & Clevie. The musical concept is very much the same, which makes that the riddim brings forward the same feel and vibe experienced while playing pieces across the "Punnany". Many enjoyable and entertaining tunes featured on this set including such standouts efforts as Capleton's "Hands Off", Hawkeye's "Go Rachel", Lexxus "Tug It Out", "Mr. Vegas' "Call Di Hearse" and the combination tune "Bun It" by Elephant Man & Mr. Vegas. Apart from the musical thrillers on this set there's another interesting aspect included as this compilation set contains strictly legal remixes in contrast to the x-amount of bootleg remixes currently hitting the streets. "Mud-Up" is a strictly bashment riddim with enough thrills to please the avid dancehall fan. |
