Gideon Production from Switzerland signalled their arrival with several decent releases from the label's roster of artists, which includes Cookie The Herbalist, Baba The Fayahstudent and Redwan Fayahwan. These three artist were also featured on the 4 track 'one riddim' EP for the "Violet Riddim", which was done in collaboration with Philip Mecksepe, who is better known as Junior Blender (of So Shifty and Supersonic Sound fame).

For the label's first full length juggling set, the usual suspects as well as artists from Jamaica (Di Govanah, Karubel, Singing Ceasar, Hefla Nyah, Dutchie Gold, Badd Cash), Gambia (Mandinka Warrior), Austria (Thai Stylee), the US (Mr Traffic, Rivah Jordan) an Switzerland (Collie Herb, Sorgäching, Bounce Chief) have voiced cuts on Max RubaDub's "Run 45 Riddim", actually the first 'one riddim' selection produced by this versatile producer, musician, singer and MC, who managed to gain publicity by creating internationally acclaimed remixes for names as Chali 2na or Cypress Hill and by releasing mixtape series. Every element of the "Run 45 Riddim", in particular the propulsive drum beats and the rumbling bass line, is designed to keep you on your feet.

The album opener is a combination tune by Cookie The Herbalist, Baba The Fayahstudent and Redwan Fayahwan under the name Gideon Allstars. With the wicked "Pon The Highway" the trio portraits their journey from show to show. Di Govanah has a great flow on the breathtaking high tempo riddim and excels throughout. His "Couldn't Believe" is a real killer! Also a strong effort, but with a different vibe, is the cultural "Jah Jah Is The Ruler" by singjay Karubel aka Sugar Dee and fine vocalist Singing Ceasar. All in all a very enjoyable start of this juggling set. However there's no time to take a deep breath as the compulsive riddim and its vocal cuts hurtle on. While the first three tunes of this set already made a very good impression, a number of others are also worth a listen. These include Mr Traffic's "Vacation", Dutchie Gold's "Eyelash", Badd Cash's "Sing Bout A Gal" and the two combination tunes "Swiss Dancehall Tun Up" by Baba The Fayahstudent & Bounce Chief, and "Informa" by Mandinka Warrior & Redwan Fayahwan.

All in all this is a very fine selection from start to finish!
