Vivienne Tanya Stephenson (born 2 July 1973), widely known by her stage name Tanya Stephens, is a Jamaican Reggae / Dancehall singer and songwriter extraordinaire who emerged in the mid-’90s, when RUNNetherlands released her full-length debut album Big Things A Gwaan.

She pulled up to the Entertainment Report Podcast for an EPICCC conversation about her career. Tanya Stephens spoke about connecting with the late Barry O’Hare at Grove Recordings in Ocho Rios, her experience working with super producer Dave Kelly, recording for the late Philip ‘Fatis’ Burrell, being an unofficial member of Shocking Vibes Crew, connecting and recording for the late Bobby Digital, recording and touring with Sizzla Kalonji, doing background vocals for Garnet Silk, recording for Don Corleon, past legal issues with rapper Lil Kim and her new upcoming album.
