Dancehall artist Versatile aka Versi has teamed up with Dancehall mogul Bounty Killer for the track “The Voice”. The song was produced by Versi Cawvinz Ent and Chris Rock’s Haad Rokk Muzik from Canada.
The Road Cawva explained how the collaboration came along “I got the riddim from Chris Rock to do a single of my own. I wrote the song and decided that I want the General to be a part of because of the lyrics and melody. I then contact Bounty Killer, told him about the idea and after he heard the demo his words were “YUTE THIS SONG IS A WELL WRITTEN SONG, IT ACTUALLY SOUNDS LIKE DAVE KELLY WRITTEN TRACK”. “There and then I knew we had a hit” said Versi.
The song has been doing well and has been gaining steam in streets and airwaves daily. Versatile couldn’t be happier with the feedback that he has been getting.
“The song has been getting rotation on mainstream radio stations and in the streets nightly, the response is great.” stated Versatile. The artist is devoted to his musical career and is now locked in the studio working on his new EP. “I never stop working, I want my music to reach all audiences across the world, My messages are universal and right now I have a lot of hits in the pipeline. 2018 just look out,” said Versi.
While promoting “The Voice” Versatile shares that he is also promoting his single “Wanted”, which is accompanied by a music video, “Wanted” is produced by Delly Ranx on the “Cotton Swab” riddim.
