State Of Emergency Riddim

2 new Maximum Sound releases.

“State Of Emergency Riddim” and the compilation “Maximum Sound @ 25”, which celebrates 25 years of the independent reggae & dancehall record label, will be out in all good digital platforms on the 16th of November.

On the 16th of November, esteemed producer Frenchie is going to release two projects in all good digital platforms. The first one on the producer’s highly acclaimed Maximum Sound label is a brand new and last riddim for 2018 called “State Of Emergency Riddim”, which features 6 vocal cuts including a biiiiiggggggg combination plus a wicked Dub Mix from the young legend, Gregory Morris. The amazing cover for this release is designed by Tony McDermott. The latter is a veteran designer and reggae specialist, who has been responsible for 500-plus album covers.

And then there’s also a label compilation that celebrates 25 years of Maximum Sound. This 25-track album has a healthy representation of styles and features many of the biggest names in reggae business including Tarrus Riley, Mr Vegas, Jah Cure, Christopher Martin, Bounty Killer, Morgan Heritage and Sizzla to name a few. Some big hits from Maximum Sound’s extensive catalogue are missing, but on the other hand there are a few included that Frenchie personally likes.
