Natural High – Urban Roots II

Natural High are Jordan ‘Tallman’ Armond and Blaise ‘Binghi’ Davis. They are a hardworking duo that have been working for more than six years in their Half-Way Tree based studio. Known for producing Kabaka Pyramid’s Reggae Music, Wayne Marshall’s classic Glory To God, and Black Is Beautiful featured on Chronixx’s Grammy-nominated album – Chronology.

On June 14, they released their second album, Urban Roots II, on the California-based label Delicous Vinyl Island. The album includes contributions from vocalists like Capleton, Jesse Royal, Wayne Marshall, Tessanne Chin, Kezamdi, Royal Blu, Makonnen, Indie Allen, and the late, great Crown Prince of Reggae Dennis Brown.

Urban Roots II is the sound that Natural High Music is working with, being sounds of the streets because the studio is here – right in the middle of Half-Way Tree. It’s like a mix of hip hop, dub, reggae, a little bit of old-school dancehall flavour”.

Release date June 14, 2019.
