David Cairol – Hope Road | New Single
DAVID CAIROL – HOPE ROAD
David Cairol “…grew up in a French town by the name of Bayonne…” but he “…heard from Trenchtown the voice of a Lion roar…” (Hope Road)
After two first singles warmly acclaimed in 2019, David Cairol has just come back in Jamaica for Reggae Month and he is now driving us on his journey to “Hope Road”, his brand new single.
A time travel and a real tribute to his major influences, that is released on February 6th to celebrate Bob Marley’s 75th Earth Strong.
Surrounded by a real jamaican all-star band consisting of Courtney “Bam” Diedrick (drummer of Damian “Jr Gong” Marley), Winta James (keyboardist of “Jr Gong” Damian Marley and producer of Protoje, Mortimer, etc.), Hector Lewis (percussionnist/backing vocalist of Chronixx), Donald “Danny Bassie” Dennis (bass player of Protoje) and the late and legendary Winston “Bo-Pee” Bowen on guitar. The single is produced by the talented French producer/musician Bost (a.o. “Skankin Sweet” by Chronixx, “Jamaican Boy” by Brisa Roché & Lone Ranger), who’s also playing saxophone alongside Didier Bolay (Tiken Jah Fakoly) on horns.
This single is taken from David Cairol’s upcoming album that will be released in 2020.
