We’ve not reached the end of 2020 yet, but so far it already has been a real tough year as the reggae fraternity faced the death of people like Toots Hibbert, Barry O’Hare, Pad Anthony, Purpleman, Bobby ‘Digital Dixon’, Naggo Morris, Bob Andy, Apple Gabriel, Derrick Lara and Norris Reid who all played their role in the history of Jamaica’s popular music. And now there’s shocking news again as another important figure in reggae music, a real icon, has passed away. The legendary Jamaican record producer and hit maker of Jamaica, Edward O’Sullivan Lee OD aka Bunny ‘Striker’ Lee, died on Tuesday 6th October at the age of 79.

In remembrance of and to honour this great producer and personality, who produced a treasure trove of music, we’re soon going to republish the in-depth interview he did with Peter I about ten years ago.

Listen to the radio show. Bunny ‘Striker’ Lee OD tells it how he sees it with Stephen Scorcha as the musical facilitator – November 16, 2020.
