Highlights of Ghetto Splash ’92

Performances of Garnett Silk, Beres Hammond, Dennis Brown, Tiger, Junior Reid, Junior Demus, and Bionic Steve are highlighted in this compilation video. Ghetto Splash ’92 was held in Craig Town, Kingston, Jamaica, and was the first show in that annual series.

Llewellyn ‘Big Daddy Leo’ O’Reggio, a pioneer in Jamaican music video productions and who is also a trained public interest communications specialist, is the driving force behind an entertaining treasure trove of videos, popular and rare classics, produced in the early ’80s and beyond. Recently he started to post a really nice selection of those music videos on his YouTube channel. You will get not only entertainment but also a historical, and for some, a nostalgic reflection of what Jamaican life was like ‘back in the days’.
