Reggae SoulJahs Worldwide Vol. 4 | New Release
Ten years after the founding of Jah Yute Ent. (JYE) and the release of Reggae SoulJahs Worldwide Vol. 1, the label presents Reggae SoulJahs Worldwide Vol. 4. The album is a Texas based creation. Executive producer Sergio Ortiz, better known as Sgt. Remo, approached Austin reggae/dub producer McPullish in 2018 about recreating King Jammy’s Bandolero riddim, which underpinned Pinchers’ classic dancehall song. The relicked riddim was originally produced for Sgt. Remo’s take on Bandolero, with vocals in Spanish, and in 2020 sent to Chezidek, Ranking Joe, Soulfiya, Mr. Blacc Sheep, and Ras Levy, who voiced their further cuts for the riddim. The two other tracks featured on the album are Bubble Dub and Bandolero 21 Version by McPullish.
