The Low Island Refugees, a band from Isla Baja (Tenerife), have released the visuals for their debut single Mash Down. Musically, the song offers a classic reggae feeling with a dash of dancehall, while the lyrics by Erese Hernández deal with everyday topics. However, they also take a critical look at the shady sides, away from the sunsets of the archipelago. It’s social criticism with a sense for poetry.
