Deejay Shaka Pow rolls out Fully Bright School Tour

Deejay Shaka Pow, well-known for supporting positive lyrics and academic excellence, began his Fully Bright school tour on Monday, January 30th, 2023 at St. John’s Primary school, Spanish Town, St.Catherine.

The 30-minute session, part of the school’s devotional exercise, began with the deejay – a doctor by profession – encouraging the almost six hundred students to become fully bright at school so that they can reap the harvest of being qualified for the world of work.

The deejay performed his Fully Bright song whilst Fully Bright dancers Anna and Wassdem di ballgame King cladded in their Fully Bright outfits and showed students how to do the Fully Bright dance.

Some ten students were given Fully Bright Certificates for various disciplines including academic excellence and being courteous.

The school presented three items from talented students surrounding the Fully Bright theme.

The winners Jevon Brown, Maleik Wright, Tedice Greene, and Perez Pearson were presented gift baskets and certificates.

The Fully Bright school tour, starting with schools in Kingston, St. Andrew, and St. Catherine, will be extended to the rest of the parishes across the island.
