Mark Davidson’s perfect score at Talent Contest
Mark Davidson turned the tables on some firm favourites to score a perfect 100 from the judges at T-Flex’s Karaoke and Talent Contest 2023.
This was at last Saturday night’s Second Elimination Round, held at the Symphony Complex on 1c March Pen Road, Spanish Town.
His perfect song choice, “The Harder They Come” – an original by Jimmy Cliff – was the big hit for the night.
Mark came with a mission to show pure class and presented a package that would have made him a clear winner at the finals of the competition.
Dressed in pair of pants inches above his ankles, long sleeve shirt, and suspenders, his strident foot moves were strong as he hammered the song with true grit and determination.
Davidson, who is an actor, singer, and commercial model, came into the competition with a wealth of exposure and experience. He has won several national awards for his roles in Jamaica’s National Pantomime, in addition to others for short overseas productions.
The rest of the field in this Saturday’s eliminations are MJ, Celene, Jody Daniel, Fox, Kerry- Ann, Andre, Christina, Jason, Get To The Point, Kale, Danny, Sodona, and Hopewell.
The competitors are vying for the top prize of $250,000 in cash and prizes. Second place will cop $40,000 and third place $20,000.
