Magano covers “Satta Massagana”

“The first time producer Thug Chemist mentioned the remaking of the ‘Satta Massagana’ riddim was on Saturday, March 18, 2023.”

“It was exactly 4:48 pm and my thoughts went back to the group The Abyssinians. They were from Jamaica and are considered a great favourite of many because they were fully cultural.”

“So, you can imagine how I felt when Thug Chemist gave me a call that it was his intention of reviving the ‘Satta Massagana’ riddim. He had met one Super Prince from Metro Force who advised him that Magano would be the perfect one to start that launch.”

“I got the riddim, worked the original song, adding my spice which I had preserved over the years.”

Chemist knew Magano had done harmony for the likes of Warrior King and Bunny Wailer. This has given her the opportunity of travelling to several countries including Switzerland, Germany, Holland, and France.

Her weekly club performances have sustained her confidence and kept her name buzzing, not only on the grounds in New York but also on social media platforms.

Chemist is just overflowing with gratitude. “Magano is one piece of fire stick. You are looking at a gigantic stage performer because she is always sharing her performances with her audience.”

“She only settles for the best. It is just a joy to see her recording because she keeps getting the love she deserves.”

So far, the song titled ‘Satta Massagana’, done originally by the Abyssinians has been getting a very good response from music lovers as far away as Europe.
