The Small Axe People have returned with an exciting new release: a package consisting of four CDs containing a total of 48 tracks, all neatly packaged in a DVD box. This compilation offers a diverse range of reggae music, showcasing four distinct styles.

The first disc, titled Idlers Rest, features 12 instrumentals heavily influenced by Andy Capp’s iconic track Pop A Top, which served as the catalyst for the concept of “Version” in reggae music. Moving on to disc 2, titled The Small Axe Massive, listeners will delve into the world of trap dancehall music, an emerging genre from Jamaica that gained popularity in 2016. Disc 3, named Axeites, explores the realm of Steppers music, offering a different style compared to the previous discs. Finally, disc 4, Area One, treats listeners to a collection of instrumentals infused with dub elements.
