Beatbopper looks at the battle for sprint supremacy

For decades Jamaica has secured gold for a series of sprint events including both the Men’s and Women’s 100, 200, and 4×100 meters relays. The green black and gold stars include Asafa Powell, Yohan Blake, and Usain Bolt, with females Shelley-Ann Fraser Pryce, Elaine Thompson-Herrah, and Sherika Jackson.

Now, the US has recovered with the likes of ShaCarr Richardson winning the Women’s 100 meters and anchoring the 4×100 relay with gold medals. At the same time, the American males swept almost all the individual sprints and relays with Noah Lyles winning the men’s 100 and 20O meters and helping the Americans to mine gold in the 4×100 meters relay.

US-based record producer, Michael “Beatbopper” Hudgins, while congratulating the US Golden Sprint team, feels Jamaica will bounce back and shine in the upcoming 2024 Olympic Games.

“Let’s face it, America and Jamaica have been two longstanding rivals for years. The US is a great country, so too is Jamaica. We don’t expect one country to be winning forever. So, we should accept changes.”

“I came into music with all hopes of winning everything I thought was out there to win. I knew it wasn’t going to be easy because every producer wanted to put out a number one single or album. That’s when people start seeing you.”

Then, it gets even better when your music goes platinum or gold and the financial rewards are coming into your hands.”

“There are always unforeseeable obstacles in every aspect of life. So, whenever we fail to make the grade, we should be determined to get it right the next time.”

“While Jamaica has lost its lightning Bolt, who has retired in grace, there is a young generation of athletes who have great coaches, so they too will bring glory to their land.”

“The World Athletics Championship is an experience for everyone, Jamaica and the US and the over 100 participating countries. Many will be going home without a medal. Jamaica was fourth amassing 12 medals to the Americans 29.”

“Sports naturally helps to unite the world. And, we see the comrade as athletes from different nations rush to congratulate others whom they are meeting for the very first time.”

“Peace is so important for all of us. This is the very reason I am dedicating my upcoming ‘Just For Peace’ album to improving the lives in not only Jamaica and the US but the entire world.”

“And what better way than to give to Fatherless Children, those who have been scarred by poverty, neglect and abuse.”

This album will have a Third World Don. People who can identify with those who are tired of violence.”

“This is a special album which gives a new look into music which offers every living soul the opportunity to promote unity and peace.”
