Beatbopper selects Jamaican Kryme Rate for Peace album

“Just for Peace,” a one-of-a-kind international album, will include Jamaican super-talented deejay Kryme Rate as one of its 12 artistes. The song titled, “Too Much Killing,” got the edge over dozens of songs from all over the world.

Kryme Rate born Andre Robinson, has emerged winner in more than 100 talent contests in Jamaica. He copped the Beatbopper first-place trophy in the Champion Bwoy Karaoke and Talent Contest finals last year 2022.

Beatbopper, who has been sponsoring youths in Jamaica for the past two years, had promised to place the winner on one of his international albums.

The producer of the album is the fantastic Michael “Beatbopper” Hudgins who is recognised as one of the US’ most promising record producers.

According to Hudgins, “As far as Jamaica having its own issues, with violence, it was only fitting to put Kryme Rate on my Peace album. He has overcome a lot of difficult circumstances living in inner-city communities.”

“His song is a powerful one. As a youth, he has already demonstrated leadership as the topic he addresses is one of concern to the world.”

“With his record of winning so many talent contests comes his dynamism which will be seen as he performs on stage.”

“People will definitely want to listen to him and the rest of the team which includes Kabaka Pyramid, the reigning reggae album Grammy winner, Third World Don, Epixode, and Lahjihkal.”

“Among the other potential artistes are Valiant. I am also working with Eric Forbes, a music executive with Chalmer John’s hit song “Rumors” feat. Trip. They are from the twin island of Trinidad and Tobago.”

“I am also interested in Ragga Marv who is from the Philippines with a song “Bandila” that will grip the Asian market.”

Beatbopper has a string of successes under his belt including his recent “Miungu Ya Muziki” album which went to number 1 on the Amazon Cuba-Caribbean charts and hit several other number 1 charts around the world.

“The album continues to chart, evidence that music lovers continue to endorse its quality”, Beatbopper added.
