A-Lone Productions, the label of respected musician, engineer & producer Roberto Sánchez, keeps on celebrating its 20th anniversary. This time the avid reggae massive is treated to a new single” by veteran ‘rootsman’ Horace Martin entitled “True Love”, a solid song about the power of the universal love. The ‘Rockers’ riddim in a Channel One 1970s style has been composed, produced, recorded and mixed by Roberto Sánchez at A-Lone Ark Muzik Studio.

The line up of musicians includes Roots Radics drummer Style Scott, who has left us recently (rest in peace). The drum tracks, that were recorded at Channel One by the late 1970s, have been provided to A-Lone Ark by veteran singer & producer Linval Thompson and his label Thompson Sounds. The vocal take was recorded at A-Lone during Horace Martin’s visit to Santander (Spain) in 2008 to perform a show with Lone Ark Riddim Force at the La Concha Reggae Vibes festival.

Until now this Horace Martin song was a special exclusive tune that was solely used in Roberto Sánchez’ live dub mix shows. Luckily we it’s now available for purchase on this brand new A-Lone Productions 7” release. The B side contains a stunning dub mix of the riddim that will please all the roots reggae dub lovers, and which shows again the quality of Lone Ark Riddim Force when it´s time to bring back the sound and spirit of the golden reggae era. Get it while you can!
