releases
Since then Upsetta Records have released outstanding productions such as “The Cuss Fix Riddim”, “Kingship Riddim”, “Pot A Cook Riddim”, “Love Jump Riddim” and “Reggae Robin Riddim”. Their latest effort, in combination with Seattle based Loud City, is a twelve track one riddim set called “Love Vibration”.
Love Vibration Riddim
The well produced one drop reggae riddim, with a dancehall flavoured catchy hook, is voiced by several lesser known reggae artists and international dancehall/reggae superstar Busy Signal. He drew attention with “Hold A Medi”, his take on Upsetta’s “Ouji Riddim”, and he doesn’t fail with this riddim as he delivers a strong roots tune. Dynamic Jamaican deejay Javada, a former member of dancehall star Konshens’, Subkonshus Music Group label, teams up with Capital D for “Smile Out”, a real winner and ready for instant rewind!
Sure Fire Hit
Discovered by producer Rohan ‘Snowcone’ Fuller, Shane O first came to prominence in 2004 with the smash hit “Lightning Flash”. He has gone from strength to strength, check out his roots tune “Have Mercy”. Fast-rising Jamaican reggae/dancehall artist Deep Jahi, has a raw passion and feeling in his voice, which can be heard on every song. He recently released the EP “Gifted” and here he brings a moving lovers tune called “Beautiful Woman”. Mortimer, known for his collaborations with Protoje, is responsible for the title track and he delivers a sure fire hit tune! More than noteworthy is Jaz Elise’s compelling roots tune “Forever Guide”, we hope to hear more from her! With Ras Kaneo’s tune “Times Hard” the positive energy continues!
