Various – Precious Time Riddim

Executive producer Richard ‘Richie B’ Burgess of Richburg Music and producer Nyle Banks have released a new EP project titled The Precious Time riddim. Nyle Banks created the modern remake of the Heptones’ Pretty Looks riddim and was the first artist to record a cut across the riddim.

In an interview with Anthony Turner, he shared: “I was listening to the version and the words came to me… I’m excited about the project. It’s a cool reminder of the standard in reggae music this is how it should sound like.”

When veteran broadcaster and entertainment personality Richie B heard Nyle Banks’ powerful love song called The Way You Love he was impressed. Encouraged by previous successes as a producer the song and riddim actually inspired him to get back into music production. As he always wanted to work with Sanchez, it was obvious that he should be part of the roster of artists who were going to voice a cut on the riddim. And so it happened that the well-respected veteran singer voiced the song I’m Blessed. Another fine singer, Anthony Cruz, has been featured on almost every riddim produced by Richie B, and thus it’s not surprising that he’s present here with a song called Righteousness We A Go Serve. Also part of the project is the former lead singer of Raging Fyah, Kumar, whose Pretty Looks is a well-done rendition of the classic Heptones tune. Next to cuts from these well-known names in the reggae arena, the EP also features Come To Me, a tune by the sweet-voiced songstress from Atlanta GA who goes by the name Range.
