Various - High Rise Riddim

From the Synthdicate Music camp comes a new set of tunes across a riddim called ‘High Rise”. The up tempo commanding roots reggae riddim, loosely based pon Bob Marley’s “War” is produced by Djfuture & Kerneil Wells, and they have done a splendid job!

We’ve spotted no weak track here. Powerful veteran Capleton doesn’t let us down with “Won’t Go Down”. Turbulence is another veteran who knows how to ride a decent riddim. Check “Who Feels It”! Pressure Busspipe fires on all cylinders with “What They Sow”, and Fantan Mojah’s “Rat Race” is one of his strongest tunes for some time. Eljai’s tune tells us that ‘war is not the answer, time to unite my friend”… so true!

Bugle’s tune “Born A Winner” is a serious effort, an incredibly uplifting track! “Black Woman” by Denise Belfon portraits a strong black woman, rising up to take a stand… a powerful anthem indeed. Spring Water delivers with “Blood Shed” a full scale rootical excursion hitting heart and soul.

Convincing roots selection!
