Various - Warm Up Riddim

The Pionear & Fabi Benz produced “Warm Up Riddim” is the first official riddim played by newly founded studio band The Germaicans, which consists of Leander “Pionear” Topp (bass, drums, guitars, back vox), Mattscher “Mittoo” Falkenau (hammond, clavinet, keyboards), Johanna Järemo (sax), and Roman Sadowski (mix, samples, add. drums).

The “Warm Up” is a very subtle Lovers Rock riddim that caresses the eardrums of the listener. The digitally released EP includes four vocal tracks plus the wonderful instrumental title track with saxophoniste Johanna Järemo doing a real fine job with her groovy sax solo. Lukie D, who is blessed with an easy identifiable and exceptional vocal style, warms up the listener in a real nice way with the Soundbwoy tune “Music For Your Soul”. Smooth lovers vibes are presented by Kalado’s delightful “I’ll Be There”. Bobby Hustle also finds a place on the riddim with the entertaining witty song “Run Road”. Last but certainly not least there’s Oriel’s gorgeous intimate love song “Count Me In”.

A quality riddim with solid vocal contributions.
