Queens of Reggae

The ‘marriage’ between reggae and women isn’t exactly a natural one. Women often have to deal with a variety of challenges that simply don’t apply to male artists. The majority of female artists definitely have to do it for themselves and so they do. And although we’ve witnessed the emergence of quite a number of talented female reggae vocalists in recent years, they are still under-represented. This mixtape is dedicated to the Queens of Reggae.
