When we went to London in 1999, we took a few CDs with us to hand them over as a gift to people we were going to meet. This package included a mix-cd featuring tunes released by Saxon Records. On our last night, we visited David Rodigan’s weekly Reggae Club in Subterania, located in Ladbroke Grove. That night David ‘RamJam’ Rodigan played alongside Saxon Sound with Lloydie Saxon. When Rodigan introduced us to Lloydie Saxon, we gave him the mix-cd. Later he gave us a call saying he utterly liked the mix and intended to use it as a warm-up in the dance.
