ANTHONY RED ROSE – GWAN TALK – FIREHOUSE

Withouth a doubt, Anthony Red Rose’s best known tune is the 1985 released seminal tune Tempo. This seminal tune was produced by King Tubby put out on the Firehouse label. In 1986, Anthony Red Rose had another ruff & tuff Firehouse production out on the street titled Gwan Talk. Engineered by Fatman & Peego, this tune has mad delay settings on Anthony Red Rose’s vocal and a boastful mid ’80s digital dancehall style delivery over a great riddim track. A stripped down drum machine driven version is featured on the flip side. Also really nice to hear is a King Tubbys Dubplate with a different version of Gwan Talk on the Stalag riddim.
