One of the greatest and most successful record producers, Dave ‘Rude Boy’ Kelly, began his career as a studio engineer in the late ’80s. After getting into producing at the Penthouse label of Donovan Germain, he started his own label Madhouse together with business partner Janet Davidson in 1991. Later this was followed by founding the Xtra Large Productions imprint. Dave Kelly aka The Stranger has produced numerous songs that topped the local and international reggae & dancehall charts and released some of the most popular and influential dancehall riddims of the ’90s. This mixtape features tunes on the Action Riddim (1992), Pepperseed Riddim (1994), Arab Attack Riddim (1995), Medicine Riddim (1996), Stink Riddim (1996), and Showtime Riddim (1997).
